Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals - Assist with patient mobility and transfers - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care - Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) Experience: - Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred - Familiarity with basic life support techniques - Experience administering injections is a plus - Knowledge of ventilator care, dialysis procedures, and inhalation therapy is beneficial - Ability to provide patient care in various settings, including acute care and hospice Requirements: - Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate and empathetic nature - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills We offer competitive pay rates and comprehensive benefits packages.
